Hainan Cave Gecko- Goniurosaurus hainanensis

The striking colouration of these little geckos never fails to stop people in their tracks.

Originating from Hainan Island, China, these Geckos may have a similar build to leopard geckos, but they have very different housing, temperature and humidity requirements. In the wild they inhabit rock crevices and caves, are nocturnal and like to climb! They're shyer than leopard geckos and don't appreciate handling as much, but will come out for food and tweezer feed. My adults love a variety of livefood, but their favourites are crickets, a variety of small roaches and their worm treats.
