Ramulus nematodes are one of the most impressive stick insects you can find. They're large and incredible creatures which are masters of camouflage - perfectly shaped like long, thin twigs so they can disappear among branches and leaves. In the wild they spend most of the day staying completely still, blending into shrubs and trees to avoid predators. At night they become more active, slowly walking along plants and feeding on leaves. Their gentle movements and twig-like bodies make them one of the best examples of natural disguise!

Ramulus nematodes are also popular as pets because they are calm, quiet, and very easy to care for. They are happy in a well-ventilated enclosure with fresh leaves such as bramble, raspberry or rose leaves. Watching them grow, shed their skin, and eventually lay flat, seed-like eggs can be a really fascinating experience for anyone interested in insects or nature.
